Taylor officers told abandoned, abused puppy was likely stomped

Photo courtesy of Patricia OdetteAfter hearing about her abusive life, many people have offered to adopt Hope. Doctors said she's got a long road to recovery ahead of her first. When Taylor Animal Control Supervisor Lanny Hall and Officer Shawn Donovan arrived the dog was laying in its feces surrounded by flies and appeared to be dead. Hall said he didn't realize the puppy actually was alive until Donovan approached her and gently touched the dog and it lifted its head.
