Chromatin regulation involves the selective recruitment of chromatin factors to facilitate DNA repair, replication and transcription. Here we demonstrate the utility of coupling unbiased functional genomics with chromatin immunoprecipitation (CRISPR–ChIP) to identify the factors associated with active chromatin modifications in mammalian cells.
