CCTV captures a knife-wielding killer on a rampage through the streets of Hartlepool before murdering a stranger in an act inspired by “revenge” for the Israel-Hamas conflict. Ahmed Alid, 45, stabbed Terence Carney, 70, six times in Hartlepool town centre eight days after Hamas attacked Israel. Earlier that day the Moroccan asylum seeker broke into the bedroom of his housemate, Javed Nouri, and hacked at him while he slept in a Home Office-approved asylum seekers' accommodation.
